We offer the following types of massage:
Relaxation Massage: Traditional Swedish Massage is used
combining stroking and kneading while varying the pressure from gentle to strong. Relaxation Massage relieves muscle
tension, stimulates circulation and relaxes the mind and body.
Therapeutic Massage: Therapeutic Massage uses multiple techniques to relax muscle, relieve stress and
stimulate the body's natural healing process.
Couples Massage:
Experience your Relaxation Massage in the same room with your spouse, significant other or friend.
Deep Tissue/Focused Massage: This massage focuses on specific
muscle regions rather than the whole body. Deep tissue massage can be one of the most therapeutic and healing massages.
Although not as rhythmic as other massage types, deep tissue massage interacts the most with the body's muscle groups.
After a deep tissue massage, sore and tired muscles often become revived and energized. The body often feels as if it
had a strenuous and effective workout.
Sports Massage: This massage is tailored to meet your
specific sports needs. During the season, you may be focusing on increasing flexibility or have muscle spasms that need
to be worked out. We also do a pre- and post-event massage to get your body ready before an event and to soothe and
renew it afterwards.
Maternity Massage:
Massage during pregnancy is a great way to relieve everyday tension and the general aches and pains that your body is experiencing.
Depending on the trimester you are in, a variety of massage techniques are used, such as Swedish, Reflexology or light pressure
point work.
Chair Massage: During
a seated massage, you are clothed and in an upright position utilizing a special chair. Techniques include Swedish,
acupressure and deep tissue massage. This is a very convenient method of alleviating stress in a short period of time.
Reflexology: Reflexology Massage works the reflex areas of the feet relative to all parts
of the body. Pressure, relaxation and stimulating techniques are applied in a specific manner to the reflex points on
the feet. The foot has more than 7200 nerve endings. Reflexology is a very effective way to relieve
stress, tension and improve overall health.
Hot
Stone Massage: Relax your muscles in a way you never have before with a hot stone massage. The therapeutic
heat from the stones flows through the body releasing the tension in each muscle. The therapist will use both stones
and hands to massage the muscles, relax the body, improve circulation and reduce stress.
Japanese Facial Massage: The Japanese facial massage is a three-step treatment
consisting of cleansing, moisturizing, and energizing techniques. This will stimulate muscles, tissue, and oil glands
just beneath the skin, improving blood flow to the skin's surface. Japanese facial massage is a refined facial therapy
system which is a powerful means of preventing and treating age spots and wrinkles.
Neuromuscular Therapy: This treatment utilizes pictures and segmental measurements
before and after treatment to monitor progress. From these tools, we assess your posture and can pinpoint which muscles
are causing a postural imbalance and pain. We then use scar tissue release, myofascial unwinding and a number of neuromuscular
therapies to address these muscles and bring you into better postural alignment. This treatment can help with chronic back and
joint pains.
Craniosacral Therapy:
Using the rhythm of the craniosacral body system, this treatment will enhance body functioning and alleviate pain and discomfort.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle method of detection and correction that encourages your own natural healing mechanisms.
